( Oil adjuvanted vaccine )

Description:

Oil adjuvanted vaccine is manufactured by NAVETCO, contains the inactivated Avian influenza virus A/H5N1, strain NIBRG-14 and strain A/Hubei/1/2010 (H5N1)-PR8-IDCDC-RG30 (CDC-RG30 for short), propagated in 9-10 days old embryonated chicken eggs and inactivated by Formalin. The vaccine is suspension, homogeneous, milk-white. The vaccine can stimulate a rapid antibody response after 2 weeks vaccinated with a durable immunity about 6 months.

Composition:

  • Active substance: Avian influenza virus A/H5N1, strain NIBRG-14 and strain CDC-RG30 with HA ≥ 8log2 before inactivated.
  • Adjuvant: Oil emulsion.

Indications:

For preventing poultry against disease caused by avian influenza virus A/H5N1, clade 1; 1.1; 2.3.2.1a,b,c and subtype H5N6.

Target species:

Chickens, Quails, Ducks, Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos), Muscovy Ducks.

Contraindications:

Do not use for unhealthy poultry.

Administration and Dosage:

  • Administration:
    • Administration route: by subcutaneous injection at the behind neck (1/3 of the lower part).
    • Before administration, allow the vaccine to warm to room temperature.
    • Shake well before use.
  • Vaccination schedule:
    • For chickens:
      • Vaccinate at 14 - 21 days old, 0.3 – 0.5ml / head. In case of vaccinated chick at 14 days old, revaccinated 10 - 14 days after primary vaccination, 0.5ml/head.
      • Breeders, layers: 0.5ml / head and revaccinate at every 6 months.
      • In low risk, safety areas: can vaccinate at 3 - 4 weeks old, 0.5ml / head.
      • In high risk areas: can vaccinate under 7 days old, 0.25 – 0.3ml / head and revaccinate 10 - 14 days after primary vaccination, 0.3 - 0.5ml/head.
    • For quails:
      • Vaccinate at 21 - 30 days old, 0.25 – 0.3ml / head and revaccinate 10-14 days after primary vaccination, 0.25 – 0.3ml/head.
      • In high risk areas: can vaccinate at 14 days old with the same dose as above.
    • For ducks, Muscovy ducks, Mallards:
      • Primary vaccination at from 14 - 21 days old, 0.3 - 0.5ml/ head and revaccinate 10 - 14 days after primary vaccination, 0.5ml/head.
      • Breeders and layers: 0.5ml/ head. Revaccinate 10 - 14 days after primary vaccination, 0.5ml / head. Then revaccinate every 6 months with same dose.
      • In high risk areas: can vaccinate under 7 days old, 0.3 – 0.5ml / head and revaccinate 10-14 days after primary vaccination, 0.5ml/head.

Precautions:

  • Do not use vaccine bottles which are broken, unsealed, lost label, lost batch number – manufacture date – expiry date, expired, showed separation of the oil and aqueous phases.
  • Inject accuracy position according to instructions for use; do not inject into blood vessel or neck bone of poultry.
  • Use entire contents within 24 hours after opening.
  • Apply the usual aseptic procedures.

Withdrawal period:

14 days.

Shelf-life:

18 months from manufacture date.

Packaging:

Multi-dose vial contains 20ml, 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml.

Storage:

Store at 2oC-8oC. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
